Main research content

YuPeng and other two ships are designed as standard model, and the data analysis as well as benchmark model test of ship resistance and propulsion, seakeeping, maneuvering, and propeller cavitation are carried out. The data includes ship model resistance, propeller open water thrust and torque, cavitation induced exciting force, ship self-propulsion, rotary hydrodynamic test, pull-out test, circular motion, zig-zag maneuvering, heave motion, pitch motion, roll motion, added resistance, acceleration et al.
